St Malachys OB II vs New Santos
Following their opening day win over Park Lodge, New Santos found themselves up against a St Malachys side struggling for a team and starting the match with only 7 players.
Within 15 seconds of the kick off Santos took the lead as Anthony McGreevy dispossessed a defender and played the ball square for Martin Magee to finish. A minute later David Harrigan crossed for McGreevy to finish to make it 2-0.
Santos hit the post twice and squawndered numerous as St Malachys managed to gain another 2 players throughout the half. 30 minutes in Kevin Kerr finished from a David Harrigan before Patrick Moore set up Martin Magee to make it four before the break.

St Malachys made it to 10 players going into the second half but Santos stayed on stop and goals flew in as Patrick Moore created chances for McGreevy to score and another two for Magee to complete his hat trick followed by a goal by David Harrigan.
Substitute Paul Barr scored with a nice finish from 18 yards before St Malachys pulled a goal back following some poor Santos defending.
Two more goals from Paddy Moore and Martin Magee made it 10 for Santos as they made it 2 wins in 2 but despite the result, it wasn't a perfect performance against a make shift St Malachys side.
